# Prompting Framework

> Popular prompting frameworks for various usecases.

### 1. **RTF — Role | Task | Format**

**Purpose**: Direct and structured prompts that clearly define who ChatGPT is, what it must do, and how the output should be structured.

* **Role**: Defines who/what ChatGPT acts as\
  *Example*: “Act as a TED Talk speaker”

* **Task**: What you want ChatGPT to do\
  *Example*: “Explain quantum computing to teenagers”

* **Format**: How you want the output delivered\
  *Example*: “In 5 bullet points with analogies”

### 2. **RISE — Role | Input | Steps | Expectation**

**Purpose**: Excellent for **step-by-step processes** and guided workflows.

* **Input**: Provide data or context\
  *Example*: “Here’s a user feedback file…”

* **Steps**: Ask for a clear breakdown of the process\
